TeuxDeux, a $3 iPhone app from Swissmiss & Fictive Kin, appearance nice, however suffers from the new competition. TeuxDeux is charmingly simple: you create an inventory of belongings you got to do and assign them to a calendar. Once you’ve completed a task, faucet on it and a line crosses it off your list. you'll drag the things up and down the list to type them by priority. Editing a task may be a bit counterintuitive—you should drag the item make a copy to the top-of-the-screen text box to form changes.
The app simply syncs with the TeuxDeux web site, permitting you to simply manage and sync your tasks from each your phone and your desktop. Of course, iOS 5’s Reminders works with iCal, Outlook, iCloud, or any CalDAV-enabled server, thus changes to your to-dos update across all of your devices similarly.
TeuxDeux has some major shortcomings of its own. It doesn’t allow you to set deadlines for specific times of day. And it doesn’t supply the choice of an alarm when the task deadline arrives. Reminders will each of these things—and it will them at no cost.
There’s nothing wrong with an easy list-making app. If you charge $3, though, you have got to face head-and-shoulders on top of the free competition. TeuxDeux doesn’t.
