ATT And Qualcomm Team Ups New application development platform – ATT and its partner Qualcomm just announced new agreement at new application development platform in industrial and health apps. A new development platform will based on Qualcomm Gobi chipset and embedded devices on Java to connect with ATT 3G network in nationwide.

The new application development platform will be on the developer market on second quarter of 2013 and called Internet of Everything (IoE). According to news, the new application development platform will be release through new Qualcomm QSC6270-Turbo chipset andalso the companied said that the new application development platform will support Oracle Java ME Embedded 3.2 development tool.

The Companies added that when using the new chipset of application development platform, developers will also can customize and optimize printed circuit boards for end-products without the need for added processors to cut down costs.

The key factors offers by the new application development platform by provides on-board sensors and indicators, such as an accelerometer, light sensor and temperature sensors. The platform supports tri-band cellular UMTS/HSDPA and quad-band GSM, as well as 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for 802.11a/b/g/n through an added Qualcomm Atheros module.

"Wireless connectivity makes products better, and this IoE development platform makes it easier for both existing and new AT&T developers to embed wireless into their products," said Chris Penrose, senior vice president of emerging devices for ATT.
